Description

Barker Moss Healthcare Recruitment have a new position in for a Dental practice Manager in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 You will be responsible for managing all operational aspects within a specified practice to achieve excellent customer service, quality, cost, and delivery performance in line with company strategy, goals and values. You will need to provide support and direction to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge of practice staff within the practice. Your responsibilities will include HR duties, recruiting, salaries and support staff, Induction of support staff, development & training of staff, goal setting and appraisals, managing absence & sickness of staff & dentists (reporting absences and working with Lead Clinician /Area Manager to reduce absences), managing staff & dentist turnover levels, health & Safety compliance in conjunction with lead clinicians and actioning grievances and disciplinary issues. You will also need to provide excellent customer service managing complaints, waiting times, telephone answering. Your managerial role will also include practice meetings, monthly business reports, practice communication, stock management, cash handling and audits. The successful candidate will have; Proven experience of people management and/or working within a dental practice. Track record of successful operational and business improvement. Experience of working in a business oriented, commercial and customer focused environment. Track record of budget development and management. Track record of tight cost control. The ability to work with others in a way that recognises their contribution and strengths, promotes collaborative working across different or cross functional teams to achieve organisational objectives. The ability to show personal motivation and enthusiasm towards achievement of goals. Pushes themselves towards achieving and surpassing their objectives

Requirements

For this role you will need to have previous dental practice management experience. This will include team working, drive & motivation, Excellent communication skills, customer focus and personal effectiveness and organisational skills.
