(You do not need to join the forces!) You will need to be flexible & adaptable with a proactive approach. You will join and become part of a multidisciplinary team, working within well-equipped medical centres, dental centres, or rehabilitation units where you will be valued as part of the Defence Medical Services team. You will be working alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force bases to deliver an exceptional standard of care for service personnel and their families
You must have a minimum of 1 years experience in general practice in the last 3 years. Candidates should have NMC registration, DBS clearance, full health immunisation report, professional and personal references, and up to date mandatory CPD training. Immunisation and Vaccination, Venepuncture. As of the 1st April, in order to be fully compliant, N4 Nurses must: Have completed a 2-day face to face foundation course in immunisations & Vaccinations & provide a certificate with dates & Have completed an annual update in immunisations & Vaccinations (we can currently set candidates up for this via the MoD.) OR If candidates have done the course but do not have the certificate, they are able to sign a self-declaration form & They must also have a signed competency form if they do not have the certificate & They must have done an annual update in immunisations & Vaccinations (we can currently set candidates up for this via the MoD.)
