Requirements

You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in general practice in the last 3 years. Candidates should have NMC registration, DBS clearance, full health immunisation report, professional and personal references, and up to date mandatory CPD training. Cervical Cytology, Immunisation and Vaccination, Minor Illness /Injuries, Travel Health, Venepuncture. (SLAiP). As of the 1st April, in order to be fully compliant, N5 Nurses must: Have completed a 2-day face to face foundation course in immunisations & Vaccinations & provide a certificate with dates & Have completed an annual update in immunisations & Vaccinations (we can currently set candidates up for this via the MoD.) OR If candidates have done the course but do not have the certificate, they are able to sign a self-declaration form & They must also have a signed competency form if they do not have the certificate & They must have done an annual update in immunisations & Vaccinations (we can currently set candidates up for this via the MoD.)
